FAIRNESS GUIDELINE
Kide App and Event Fairness Policy
General
Tickets must be claimed and scanned on Kide.App. If you arrive late to an event, please ask a team member to scan your ticket, otherwise you may be marked as missing.
Tickets cannot be transferred in order to prevent people ‘holding’ tickets for others.
Screenshots of QR codes will NOT be accepted. You will be turned away from the event. In the case of parties or space limited events, you will be asked to pay the full/door prices for the ticket.
The policies here are to ensure that tickets to events are NOT claimed without the intention of attending the event. As we have many members, we want to give everyone a fair chance to attend the events they want to.
Cancellations
If you cannot make an event, you must cancel your ticket 24 hours before the start of the event. If you do not, it will count against you in a tally towards your suspensions as detailed below.
Texting in the group chat or on social media does not count as a cancellation. You must email secretary@esnunihelsinki.com with your full name and what ticket you are cancelling. The timestamp on the email will serve as the time we check the 24 hours against.
The following policies apply unless otherwise stated on specific events descriptions:
PUBLIC
Spaces that are normally public, outdoor visits that are also open to the general public at the time the event is happening (ex. free museums, outdoor parks, office hours, check in events)
Cancellation - 24 hours before
Missed 1 - Warning
Missed 2 - 1 weeks suspend
Missed 3 - 2 weeks suspend
Missed 4 - 4 weeks suspend
Missed 5 - Revoked membership
FREE
ESN Uni Helsinki pays on our members behalf, which is why it is free for our members and there are normally limited spots. (ex. sports facilities, pool nights, private sauna events, Karaoke)
Cancellation - 24 hours before
Missed 1 - Warning
Missed 2 - 1 weeks suspend
Missed 3 - 2 weeks suspend
Missed 4 - 4 weeks suspend
Missed 5 - Revoked membership
PAID
ESN Uni Helsinki organizes group discounts for our members and subsidizes other costs for members. (ex. restaurants/cafes, Sitsit)
Cancellation - 24 hours before or no refund (sitsits need to be cancelled 2 weeks before, or no refund due to food orders)
Missed 1 - 1 week suspend
Missed 2 - 2 weeks suspend
Missed 3 - 4 weeks suspend
Missed 4 - Revoked membership
TRIPS
Around Finland or other countries (ex. Baltics, Tampere, Turku, Lapland, Tallinn)
Cancellation - No refund
Missed 1 - 1 week suspend
PARTIES
Events in Clubs (ex. Maxine, Apollo, Mascot)
Cancellation - No refund
