ESN Uni Helsinki Privacy Policy

ESN Uni Helsinki collects, handles and processes data in accordance of the EU's General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Purpose of the data

Collected data is used by ESN Uni Helsinki to:

• Keep a membership registry required by the Finnish Association law

• Provide services including but not limited to event organising, collecting feedback, and providing relevant information to members

• Send statistics of the membership registration of ESN Uni Helsinki for the research and statistical purposes of ESN Finland and ESN IBL (the data sent will be anonymised so that individuals can no longer be identified from them)

• Send an extract of ESN Uni Helsinki's list of members to HYY's Board, with the names and student numbers of the members included, on the request of  HYY’s Board.

Stored data

ESN Uni Helsinki stores personal data for the aforementioned purposes, for example:

• First and last name

• Email address

• Phone number

• Student number

• Municipality

• Nationality

• Date of birth

Personal data is only stored for as long as necessary for the aforementioned purposes.
